Common Law Admission Test – 2013 CLAT 2013-2014 Entrance Exam dates

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an all India entrance examination conducted on rotation by 14 National Law Universities (NLUs) for admissions to their under-graduate and post-graduate degree programmes (LLB & LLM).
The first CLAT Core Committee consisting of Vice-Chancellors of the seven participating NLUs at that time decided that the test should be conducted by rotation in the order of their establishment. Accordingly, the first Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) was conducted in the year 2008 by the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore. Subsequently, CLAT-2009, CLAT-2010, CLAT-2011 and CLAT-2012 have been conducted by NALSAR-Hyderabad, NLIU-Bhopal, WBNJUJS-Kolkata and NLU-Jodhpur, respectively. The CLAT-2013 is being conducted by Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), Raipur.

Last Date for submission of filled-in Application Forms 30th March 2013 (Saturday) by 5:00 pm
Dispatch of Admit Cards/Hall Tickets Up to 13th April 2013 (Saturday)
Date of Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) – 2013 12th May 2013 (Sunday)
Date of Declaration of Results 31st May 2013 (Friday)
Issue of First Provisional Allotment List along with Waiting List 2nd June 2013 (Sunday)
Last Date for Fee-deposit with CLAT Office by the candidates of the First Provisional Allotment List and Waiting List to reserve their seats in respective Universities 7th June 2013 (Friday) by 4:00 p.m.
Last Date for exercising the option to remain with and take admission in the allotted University 7th June 2013 (Friday) by 4:00 p.m.
Publication of Actual Allotment List of the candidates allotted to various Universities against First Provisional Allotment List 10th June 2013 (Monday)
Issue of Second Provisional Allotment List 11th June 2013 (Tuesday)
Last Date for exercising the option to remain with and take admission in the allotted University 13th June 2013 (Thursday) by 4:00 p.m.
Publication of Actual Allotment List of candidates allotted to various Universities against the Second Provisional Allotment List 15th June 2013 (Saturday)
Issue of Third Provisional Allotment List 16th June 2013 (Sunday)
Last Date for exercising the option to remain with and take admission in the allotted University 18th June 2013 (Tuesday) by 4:00 p.m.
Publication of Actual Allotment List of candidates allotted to various Universities against the Third Provisional Allotment List 19th June 2013 (Wednesday)
Issue of Fourth Provisional Allotment List along with Waiting List, if any 20th June 2013 (Thursday)
Completion of admission formalities at University level by submitting required certificates/documents and the balance amount of fees by candidates who would have deposited fees against 1st, 2nd and 3rd Provisional Allotment List 24 – 27th June 2013 (Monday – Thursday)
Last Date for Withdrawal of Candidature for Admission from CLAT Office 27th June 2013 (Thursday) by 4:00 p.m.
