Candidates satisfying at least one of the following criteria may apply:
State/Central Board: Students qualifying in Class XII in 2012 in Science Stream. The cut-off percentage for INSPIRE fellowship of the Department of Science and Technology (DST) to be used for the boards for Class XII are given in http://www.inspire-dst.gov.in/Inspire-Advertisement.pdf with 5% relaxation for OBC (NC) and PD.F or SC/ST the cut-off is 60% for all boards.
